NCAA Football Rankings, Week 11: UCLA (No. 17) ranked ahead of USC (No. 21) in AP poll

The Bruins are ranked ahead of the Trojans for the first time since Novmeber 11, 2001.

There were a ton of college football points scored in the Los Angeles area on Saturday night, and to the victors go the spoils. By virtue of their 66-10 win over the Arizona Wildcats, the UCLA Bruins moved up eight spots to No. 17 in the latest Associated Press poll. The victory put the Bruins in a place in the polls unfamiliar to UCLA for over a decade.

UCLA is ranked ahead of the USC Trojans for the first time since 2001. USC dropped three spots to No. 21 after their 62-51 loss to the Oregon Ducks on Saturday at the Coliseum.

As Bruins backup quarterback Richard Brehaut put it, "For the 1st time in my college career, we are ranked higher than $C .As an old friend of mine used to say"Great day to be alive an be a bruin."

The Trojans are the highest-ranked three-loss team in the AP poll, which also includes the 6-3 Texas Tech Red Raiders at No. 25. The Pac-12 has five teams in the AP top 25, including No. 2 Oregon. Here's the entire AP Poll:
